“Loneliness is the human condition. Cultivate it. The way it tunnels into you allows your soul room to grow. Never expect to outgrow loneliness. Never hope to find people who will understand you, someone to fill that space. And intelligent, sensitive person is the exception, the very great exception. If you expect to find people who will understand you, you will grow murderous with disappointment. The best you’ll ever do is to understand yourself, know what it is that you want, and not let the cattle stand in your way.”—Janet Fitch (via atomos)
Monologue part two...the one another random girl wrote for me....
Tyranny! That’s what it always is with you. Whenever concerning anything to do with me, I see the hate burning in your eyes.
The love I once held for you is no more. I was always on the inside looking out, begging, starving for unconditional love. And you couldn’t even do that for me. .It’s the least that you could do. I didn’t know it was such an obligation to show affection towards me. While you’re out in the world, doing what you do, leaving me here, like dust in the wind and that is no more! My unconditional love for you is no more.
Tyranny! Thats what it always is with you. Whenever concerning anything to do with me, I see the hate burning in your eyes.
What you once held, deep within me, more as a sort of programmed thing than anything else, is no more. That very thing, at which others hold so dear, that they love…I know of this, only by observations of other external maternal figures. That which you given me none of, some would cringe at the thought, yet I feel nothing.
So do go out in life, be happy, be sad, be what you want, for I care not. The moment I have my chance to leave I will take it without a doubt. For you have specialized in life, to make me miserable from the start.
Those thoughts are held in silence at all cost. With the exception of my mate, who is like an angel to me. This angel that resides far away, much too far, yet is always in my heart and mind. Giving each other the strength to make it by one last day. With laughter, jest and of course tears. A two minute conversations are enough to place a smile into the world.
